چکیده

The widespread application of drones and associated miniaturization imaging sensors has led to an explosion remote sensing applications with very high spatial spectral resolutions. 3-D ultrahigh-resolution digital outcrop models created using oblique imagery from ground-based are now commonly used in the academic industrial sectors, while generation spatially accurate been greatly facilitated by development computer vision tools, such as structure motion, correction attributes achieve material reflectance measurements remains challenging. Following a topographical toolbox (mephysto), we propose series new tools that can leverage detailed geometry captured correct for illumination effects caused viewing angles interaction light complex surfaces. This open-source code is integrated into hylite, python full processing fusion hyperspectral data. We validate performance our novel method case study at open-pit mine Tharsis, Spain, demonstrate importance corrections quantitative analyses. Significantly, show applied analysis techniques yield erroneous results data corrected current state-of-the-art approaches. Our proposed ameliorates many issues these established

A Novel Algorithm for Digital Distance Relaying

Distance relays are used to protect EHV and HV Transmission lines. Over the past decades many algorithms have emerged for digital distance relays. These are based on the calculation of the transmission line impedance from the relaying to fault points. In this paper a novel method for digital distance relaying is proposed. In the method the tracking procedure is implemented. The method uses the ...

Outcrop fracture characterization on suppositional planes cutting through digital outcrop models (DOMs)

Conventional fracture data collection methods are usually implemented on planar surfaces or assuming they are planar; these methods may introduce sampling errors on uneven outcrop surfaces. Consequently, data collected on limited types of outcrop surfaces (mainly bedding surfaces) may not be a sufficient representation of fracture network characteristic in outcrops. Recent development of techni...

lucille: Open Source Global Illumination Renderer

This paper introduces a multi-platform and open source global illumination renderer called lucille. lucille implements recent global illumination algorithms such as Monte Carlo ray tracing, and photon mapping. It also includes a lot of functionality, for example, various BRDF models, HDRI lighting, parallel rendering, SIMDoptimized ray tracing, and so on. lucille inputs the scene data in the RI...

a new approach to credibility premium for zero-inflated poisson models for panel data
